Unfortunately the BLD warranty does not cover any issues with the operating system or any other software on your system, unless it is directly linked to your system’s hardware. Here is some information on how you can troubleshoot software problems.
For crashes that result in a blue/black screen, please make sure to note any stop codes or error codes given at these screens.
Here is an example:
With these error codes you can look them up on a search engine such as Google or Bing to see what this error code could mean. It is entirely possible someone may have the same exact issue as you and may have encountered a solution.
We recommend if you are not able to find a solution while looking online that you contact Microsoft Support for further troubleshooting. You can contact Microsoft Support through the pre-installed help app. Just search “Get Help” on your Windows 10 Search bar.
You can also call the Microsoft support line at 1-800-642-7676
For issues with other software, such as a game or application you can do a similar process. Make sure to write down and error codes and make note of what occurred up until your issue happened in said game and application.
As like before, search those error codes on Google.com or Bing.com and see if you are able to find a solution. If you are not able to find a solution to your issue, then it is best to contact the developer for assistance. For example for a game like Fortnite, you can contact the developer of Fortnite, Epic Games, for troubleshooting of your issue on their support portal which you can find here:
