Unfortunately, the BLD warranty does not cover any issues with the operating system or any other software on your system unless it is directly linked to your system’s hardware. Here is some information on how you can troubleshoot software problems.
For crashes that result in a blue/black screen, please make sure to note any stop codes or error codes given at these screens.
Here is an example of where to find the code:
With these error codes, you can look up the issue on a search engine such as Google or Bing. It is entirely possible someone may have the same exact issue as you and have encountered a solution.
If you are not able to find a solution while looking online, we recommend that you contact Microsoft Support for further troubleshooting. You can easily contact Microsoft Support via their support line at 1-800-642-7676 or through the pre-installed help app.
To access the app, just search “Get Help” on your Windows 10 Search bar:
For issues with other software, such as games or applications, you can troubleshoot through a similar process. Make sure to write down any error codes and take note of what occurred prior to the issue.
Search those error codes and see if you are able to find a solution. If you are not able to find a fix, you should then contact the Developer directly for assistance. You should be able to find the contact support information on their website.
